Academics

When it comes to academics, our members are motivated to achieve and maintain the highest standard. Our Director of Academic Excellence helps us to "broaden the intellectual life," as stated in our Purpose, by supporting and encouraging members in their studies. Members are required to maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA, and officers a 2.8. Tri Delta has an academic support plan in place that works directly with members who need assistance achieving this standard and their individual academic goals. Each week new short-term challenges are put in place to keep academics at the forefront of member's minds. For instance, attending a chapter-wide study party or making a 90% or above on assignments.

Hard work and scholastic achievement does not go unnoticed. After each quarter, the girls who received a 4.0 GPA are recognized and receive certificates highlighting their success. In addition, the member with the most improved GPA also receives significant recognition. And at the end of each academic year, the senior with the highest overall GPA in her class is recognized with the Eileen Blain Rudolph Scholarship Award for her outstanding academic achievement.
